Vans has paired up with National Geographic for yet another unique Spring collaboration. In this collection, 5 of the most popular silhouettes from Vans is getting a special National Geographic makeover. The Sk8-Hi, Era, Authentic, Slip-On and Old Skool is remixed, to become a unique collection of skate meets nature. National Geographic features documentaries involving nature, science, culture, and history, which they have incorporated in this collaboration in different ways. The Sk8-Hi stays minimal in all black with the National Geographic logo, while the Era is covered with magazine covers. The Authentic covers the ocean with Papua New Guinea and its coordinates on the outsole. The Slip-On features Greenland's Pine Island Glacier, while the Old Skool features an Oriental Whip Snake on one shoe and a Mexican Grey Wolf on the other.
