The "Protection Pack," which debuted on the 2002r as New Balance's initial edition, immediately rose to the forefront of the company's future plans. Everyone admired how the "Protection Pack" was created from the moment it was released. The Refined Futures were such a unique style in comparison to other shoes because of its signature choppy suede uppers and two-tone N-ERGY soles. Though we thought New Balance was only creating Refined Futures for the 2002r's, we were wrong.

Given the success of the 2002r's and 1906r's over the past year, they have been getting so much popularity from the colour ways created and aside from that, the comfort level these sneakers have to offer.  With the massive success of The Refined Future 2002r, we're curious to see if New Balance will be coming out with more of these 1906r styles this 2023.
